If you like Telegram’s round video messages
Telegram introduced round video messages in 2017 as one of many ways to talk in its messenger, next to text, voice, photos and files. Circlr is a different kind of product: a social network where the round video is the only format.
What is different
- Circlr has a public feed, profiles, follows, likes and stories — all made of circles.
- Direct messages on Circlr are circles only: no text, links, files or forwarding.
- Circles in Circlr DMs must be recorded live in the app.
- Your circles are stored on your phone first; our servers keep them for a limited time unless you have Premium.
What is similar
- Short round selfie videos.
- Hold to record, with a front/back camera switch.
- Emoji reactions.
Can I use both?
Yes. Circlr is not a replacement for a messenger with text chats. It is a separate place where everything is a live circle — for people who want that.
